Nobody Could Agree What It Was
Mulligans Sports Bar in Airlie Beach has a golf simulator, free pool, electronic darts, live sport and a properly poured Guinness. Online, though, it was being called four different things: a sports bar, a Modern Australian restaurant, an Irish pub and a Japanese inspired eatery.
Small mistakes were adding up too. The street name was misspelt across the site, the hours were wrong in places, the name showed up two different ways, and nothing new had been added since launch. No single message was strong enough to rank.
One Identity, Everywhere
Picked One Story
A sports bar, with the golf simulator as the thing nobody else has. Live sport, pool, darts and the Guinness backing it up. Food described as pub food, not a cuisine.
Fixed The Small Stuff
Spelling, hours, the business name, the homepage description. Small errors quietly cost trust with Google, so I went through every page.
Pages For Real Searches
New pages for the best Guinness in Airlie Beach and for free pool and darts, each written around one thing people actually search for.
Google Profile To Match
Categories reset to match the website, and regular posts started again after months of nothing.
I also built the online menu and sorted the photos, so the site looks as good as the venue.
Honest Over Clever.
"The only golf simulator in Airlie Beach" only went up once I'd checked it was true. And some lines got cut because the owner hadn't signed off on them, even though they'd have added keywords.
